Project Work for Oxfam for a day Campaign

Oxfam returned to FLUX to come up with a solution for the launch of a new fundraising product called Work For Oxfam Day at the "National Business Awards".
The challenge was to encourage CEOs to persuade their employees to donate some or all of their wages for a day.
We decided to take advantage of the vast fantastic archive of images Oxfam have. Using 2.5D technique we linked the images to create a dynamic and emotive film for the presentation.

Chris Ashworth, Corporate Partnerships Manager, for Oxfam thanked th1ng and said: “All the team here have been really taken aback by the quality of the production and are anticipating a great reaction. This goes down as our best output yet in my book.”

Project Call to Action

Oxfam, a global movement working to overcome poverty, approached us to help them create a “call to action” film to run globally.

They wanted us to illustrate a series of their case studies with animation, the target audience where people who would agree with the statement that ”climate change is a problem and should be taken seriously” however they might not be aware of the link between climate change and poverty.
We decided to approach this project from a positive angle; too often films like this only show the poverty and misery. We wanted to focus on solutions and show examples of success stories.
